All sorts of things are going to be happening in Leigh on the weekend of the Diamond Jubilee, June 1-3, so mark it on your calendar and look out for more information on posters, Facebook and in the Parish News!
Activities will include a Friday night family concert featuring local talent, Saturday bacon butty/coffee morning, children`s games and fancy dress, fireworks, Leigh over 60 years exhibition, and on Sunday a giant rounders tournament, the Big Lunch picnic, community Songs of Praise and more. There will also be a flower festival in All Saint`s Church as part of the Pugin 200th Anniversary.
All the village churches and organisations are involved, so if you would like to help, please contact them, or ring Louisa on 01889 502572 but otherwise just plan to come along and have a good time!
