Jubileigh! LEIGH 1952-2012 EXHIBITION:
All Saints Church Friday 1st – Sunday 2nd June
If anyone has any photos, scrap books or other objects, that show Leigh and life in Leigh over the last 60 years and would like to ‘loan’ for this exhibition, please ring Carol on 01889 502532, or bring them to the church by 6pm on Friday evening .
Creative contributions from play group and school children are very welcome. These could be on the ‘Jubilee’ theme or ‘My family – the last 60 years’.
If any older children/ young people would like to create a powerpoint presentation on the theme of ‘Britain and Jubilee – now and then’. These will be shown on Friday evening and at other times over the weekend. Please email them to jubileigh2012@gmail.com by Saturday 26th May.
